About

My girlfriend has 9 photos of the same croissant she had one day on a trip to Paris; I have one blurry photo of me between the ages of 15 and 19. And the AI enhancement seems to have gotten rid of my lips.

But such is life; so here it is.

I grew up and lived in the town of Banbury, Oxfordshire until I was dragged kicking and screaming at age 18 to America.

This blog primarily focuses on the events of my life from age 12 to 18, and the “soundtrack” that gave it substance. There will be the occasional post outside of this time frame, but the main focus is from 1977 to 1984.

The golden years…

There are a few things I’d like to point out. First, these are how I remember the events. And memories are tricky. Just ask Foucault. So, for the love of god, don’t be posting something like “The BBC didn’t screen Elvis’ Comeback Special on August 17th, 1977, they screened Elvis: That’s The Way It Is.” I’m just writing things as I remember them.

Second, this blog isn’t politically correct. It uses a lot of the language we were using at the time. And there is a lot of focus on girls and sex (granted, mostly in the hypothetical). But such is the inner life of teenage boys. If that offends you, go clutch your pearls elsewhere.

CONTACT

I’m leaving a contact email for one main purpose: for you to let me know if links to videos are no longer working or if there’s some other issue with the site. I’d really appreciate that feedback, so I can rectify the situation.

I’m not interested in erectile-dysfunction medication, Filipina-bride suggestions, AI image generators, or OnlyFans links. I’ll ban them. But thanks for the thought.

Also, if you hate this blog, post your feelings in the blog comments; if you hate my book, let people know on the Amazon review page.
